Nasarawa State Governor, Abdullahi Sule, has approved the removal of eight Special Advisers and the appointment of nine new ones as part of efforts to strengthen governance and improve service delivery across the state.
Those relieved of their appointments are Lawal Karshi, Danlami Moroa, Haruna Idris, Gambo Abdullahi, Muhamma Shege, Ibrahim Shekarau Dahiru, Engr. Moses Utondo, and Elsie Monday.
To fill the vacancies, Governor Sule approved the appointment of Barr. David Sule as Special Adviser on Humanitarian Service (Obi), Jafaru Ango as Special Adviser on Public Works (Karu), Alh. Ado Dauda as Special Adviser on Social Investment (Kokona), Abdullahi Angibi as Special Adviser on Political Affairs (Lafia), Prince Nuhu Dauda Shege as Special Adviser on Rural Development (Toto), Joseph Attah as Special Adviser on Information and Orientation (Doma), Dr. Felix Saajor as Special Adviser on Education (Obi), Peter Mbucho as Special Adviser on Health (Akwanga), and Idris Suleiman Dansauka as Special Adviser on Chieftaincy Affairs (Keffi).
The changes were announced in a statement issued on Friday by the Secretary to the Government of Nasarawa State, Dr. Shuaibu Magaji Labaran, who said the reshuffle was aimed at sustaining the administration’s development agenda through informed policy advice and enhanced service delivery.
According to the government, the appointments are expected to enhance policy coordination and improve the implementation of programmes across critical sectors of the state.
It further noted that the date for the swearing-in ceremony of the newly appointed Special Advisers would be announced in due course.
