The executive chairman of Kuje area council, Hon. Danjuma Samuel Shekwolo, has inaugurated the newly appointed Supervisory Councillors, Special Advisers (SAs), and Senior Special Assistants (SSAs), with a strong charge to ensure professionalism, teamwork, accountability and service delivery.
Speaking during the inauguration ceremony held, Tuesday, the chairman described the occasion as another significant milestone in the administration’s commitment to building a more progressive and people-oriented Kuje area council.
Hon. Shekwolo stated that the appointments were made after careful consideration of the appointees’ character, competence, integrity, and capacity to contribute meaningfully to the development of the council.
He reaffirmed his administration’s unwavering commitment to fulfilling the promises made to the people of Kuje, adding that the newly inaugurated officials have a vital role to play in achieving the government’s developmental agenda.
The chairman urged the appointees to work harmoniously with career civil servants, uphold the highest standards of professionalism and embrace teamwork in carrying out their responsibilities.
“It is only through collaboration, commitment and purposeful service that we can achieve the desired results,” he said.
Hon. Shekwolo further stated that his administration would operate a performance-driven system, warning that complacency, indiscipline and any conduct capable of undermining the integrity of government would not be tolerated.
He added that accountability and service to the people would remain the guiding principles of his administration, saying any appointee who fails to meet the expected standards of performance would be relieved of his or her appointment without hesitation.
The executive chairman congratulated the newly inaugurated supervisory councillors, special advisers, and senior special assistants. He also expressed confidence in their ability to contribute effectively towards building a more prosperous, peaceful and progressive Kuje area council.
In his good will message, the mandate secretary, Agric, FCTA, Hon. Suleiman Abdullah Ango, charged them to be loyal and uphold the oath of secrecy they have taken.
