After being appointed head coach of the German national team, Jürgen Klopp has returned to the world of football management.
A new chapter in his coaching career has begun with the highly regarded German manager’s agreement to a long-term contract that will keep him in control of the national team until July 2030.
In a post shared on social media on Friday, journalist Fabrizio Romano confirmed that Jurgen Klopp is back in management, disclosing that he has been named the new head coach of the German national team on a deal running until July 2030.
Klopp, who previously enjoyed successful spells with Borussia Dortmund and Liverpool, returns to the dugout with a reputation as one of the most accomplished managers of his generation.
His energetic style of football, leadership qualities and ability to develop players have made him one of the most admired figures in the game.
During his time at Liverpool, Klopp guided the club to major honours, including the UEFA Champions League, Premier League, FIFA Club World Cup, UEFA Super Cup, FA Cup and League Cup.
At Borussia Dortmund, he won back-to-back Bundesliga titles and established the club as one of Europe’s strongest teams.
His appointment as Germany’s head coach marks his first major role in international football.
He is now tasked with leading the national team into a new era, building a competitive squad and restoring Germany’s status among the world’s leading football nations.
