Financial coach Gehgeh has denied getting married, after his viral wedding appearance sparked confusion online, with questions raised over the absence of his family members and close friends.

Speaking on a podcast, Gehgeh was confronted over why his elder brother, sister, friends and Brother Mike were reportedly absent from the ceremony.

The host noted that Brother Mike had claimed he wasn’t invited, while Gehgeh’s sister had also reportedly said she was not invited and that he went ahead with the wedding on his own terms.

Gehgeh acknowledged the absence of several people, pointing out that despite being an Urhobo man marrying in Yoruba attire, neither his elder brother nor any of his friends were present, and Brother Mike was also absent, describing the whole thing as part of a stunt.

The host also raised the issue of TikToker Carterefe, who reportedly reacted after learning of Gehgeh’s wedding, particularly given that Gehgeh had previously advised him to end his relationship.

Gehgeh, however, appeared to shrug off the controversy surrounding the viral wedding, arguing that social media users tend to form opinions based on whatever happens to be trending at the time.

He explained that once something trends online, everyone, including himself, tends to weigh in with an opinion, adding that people often interpret trending stories in ways that align with whatever brand image they have already built for themselves online.
