Geh Geh, a Nigerian content creator, has cautioned men against making significant financial commitments to women they are dating, claiming that many partnerships are motivated more by financial reliance than by true commitment.
Speaking further in an interview with a podcast, Geh Geh stated that men should place greater emphasis on establishing their own financial security rather than lavishing money on their relationships.
A commentator identified as Geh Geh has advised men against making financial sacrifices for women, describing such gestures as costly mistakes.
According to him, many men make costly financial mistakes by neglecting themselves in a bid to satisfy women.
He advised against training a woman in school, stressing oneself for a woman, or opening a business for a woman.
When asked whether women also make sacrifices by committing to one man through marriage, he rejected the comparison, insisting that men and women do not play the same roles in relationships.
Maintaining that both are simply not the same. He also argued that women often gain financial advantages after marriage, saying that once a woman gets married, she stops paying rent.
Clarifying his position, he said he was not against relationships in themselves but against women who enter relationships as a means of escaping poverty.
He explained that neglecting oneself to please a woman amounts to a financial mistake that would eventually bring regret.
He also referenced the animal kingdom, claiming that in many species, females are responsible for sourcing food, and insisted that men should protect their finances rather than make expensive sacrifices for romantic partners.
