Nollywood actress Annie Idibia has responded to speculation suggesting she has reunited with her estranged husband, music icon Innocent Idibia, popularly known as 2Baba, clarifying that the reports are false.
The actress addressed the claims on Monday through a post shared on her Instagram Stories after old videos of the former couple resurfaced across social media.
In her post, Annie stated that the clips being circulated were not recent and accused social media users of presenting outdated footage as new events.
“Old videos circulating everywhere, false news everywhere,” she wrote.
The speculation gained momentum after videos showing Annie and 2Baba dancing together in a nightclub were widely shared online, leading many fans to believe the pair had reconciled.
However, Annie’s latest statement has effectively dismissed the claims, indicating that the videos were recorded before the end of their relationship.
Earlier reports showed that Annie and 2Baba publicly announced the end of their marriage in January 2025, bringing to a close a union that lasted for more than a decade and attracted significant public attention.
Despite continued public interest in their relationship, Annie’s latest clarification suggests there has been no reconciliation between the former couple.
