A Nigerian man, @MrMekzy_, has shared the results of a personal challenge to track his water consumption over six months.
According to him, he started the year determined to find out exactly how much water he drinks over a six-month period and, eventually, an entire year.
To keep an accurate record, he said he saved every empty bottle of water he finished, including those consumed while outside his home.
He explained that he would keep the empty bottles in his car before taking them home.
At the end of six months, he discovered that he had consumed 55 packs, amounting to 660 bottles of 75cl Aquafina water.
Based on his calculations, he drank a total of 495 litres of water during the six-month period.
Sharing the milestone, he described the result as “not bad at all,” drawing reactions from social media users impressed by both his hydration habits and commitment to tracking them.

So I made a conscious effort to keep every single bottle of water I finished, even the ones I drank while I was out. I’d put the empty bottles in my car and bring them home.
Six months later, I’ve gone through 55 pack and 660 bottles of 75cl Aquafina, that’s a total of 495 liters of water.
