46-year-old man fatally shot in the head on NYC street

A 46-year-old man was gunned down in front of a liquor store in the Bronx on Monday night, according to authorities.

The victim was discovered with a gunshot wound to the head in front of a liquor store near the intersection of Archer Street and White Plains Road in Parkchester just before 8:15 p.m., according to the NYPD.

Emergency responders rushed the unidentified man to NYC Health+Hospitals/Jacobi, where he was pronounced dead, cops said.

Photos captured blood spilled on the muddy sidewalk as investigators scoured the scene and marked off evidence with cones.

There have been no arrests, and an investigation remains ongoing.
