
A socio-political group, Relax Tinubu Is Fixing Nigeria (RTIFN) has lauded the economic and structural developmental programs of President Bola Ahmed Tinubu, saying the reforms are yielding positive results.
The Ogun state coordinator of the group, Okereafor Bestman Opeyemi, stated this while briefing newsmen at the official presentation of membership registration booklets to local government coordinators in Abeokuta, Tuesday.
He noted that the official registration booklets is to enable the leadership of the group have a database of its members across the 20 local government areas in Ogun Sate.
Okereafor added that with his achievements, President Bola Ahmed Tinubu deserves a second term in office, to fully complete his economic and structural reforms.
“Part of the President’s reforms have significantly boosted monthly allocations to states and local governments, improving their capacity to deliver social services and pay salaries.
“No state government is struggling to pay salaries since the inception of this administration.
“The administration has secured over $30 billion in foreign investment commitments, which tend to greatly improve the economy, this is an obvious renewed trust in the country’s trade and business environment, this direct investment tends to create more employment opportunities while further improving the economy.
“With stabilized exchange rates and improved crude oil production (ramping up past 1.8 million barrels per day), Nigeria’s foreign reserves have crossed the $40 billion mark.
“Today we now have the South West Development Commission, South East Development Commission among others.
“ASUU strike has become a thing of the past in Nigeria under this administration, and academic calendars have been going on smoothly because Mr. President understands the value of education,” he said.
