Young artist releases diss track for Tinubu over insecurity, hardship in viral video

A young Nigerian artist has stirred reactions online after releasing a diss track berating President Bola Ahmed Tinubu over rising insecurity, economic hardship in the country.

The song, which has been circulating on social media, contains criticism of the administration’s handling of national issues, especially insecurity and public infrastructure.

Allegations of Insecurity and Kidnappings

In the track, the artist referenced recent cases of insecurity, including recent kidnapping incidents in Oyo State.

He expressed concern over what he described as worsening safety conditions across different regions, saying many Nigerians no longer feel secure.

Criticism of Economic Management

The artist also questioned the government’s economic direction, alleging excessive borrowing and poor management of national resources.

He said: “For inside this country we no dey safe. Na so dey kidnap children for Oyo State. President not even dey look our face, hin own na to borrow money every day. Where the money dey enter nobody know. Anyway sha, if una vote Tinubu for the next election una go too cry. Insecurity full my country. Bad roads, no lights and even bandits. Many people dey die, he no even care. Mr. President, you nor really dey try. 2027 no vote Tinubu. Anybody wey go vote Tinubu that person go cry wetin no good.”
