Premier League club, Tottenham Hotspur, have confirmed the signing of Slovakian goalkeeper, Martin Dubrakva, to bolster its goalkeeping department ahead of the 2026/27 season.
Spurs announced that Dubravka joined the club on a free transfer after leaving Burnley in the summer and would serve as a backup to first-choice, Antonin Kinsky, as the London club aim to better their relegation threatened 2025/26 season, and fight for domestic silverware next season.
The signee, following his move on Wednesday, said, ”Its an exciting time for me, a new journey and new experience for me and my family.
”Tottenham is one of the biggest clubs in the Premier League and I can’t wait to meet everyone and get started,” Dubravka added, and continued saying, ”Everything moved pretty quickly and I’m really happy to be here. I’ve watched Roberto’s teams over the years and know all about his style, vision and fantastic fans here.”
Tottenham Sporting Director, Johan Lange, said that the team is delighted to sign the goal custodian, adding that he is a proven quality at the highest level.
”His character and professionalism will strengthen the squad. His leadership and consistency aligs with what we are building here.”
”I’m very happy because Martin is a goalkeeper with big experience and a strong mentality,” said Head Coach, Roberto De Zerbi.
