Ghana national team coach, Carlos Queiroz, has added Manchester City attacker, Antonie Semenyo, as well Athletic Bilbao’s Inaki Williams to his squad for the forthcoming 2026 FIFA World Cup.
Queiroz unveiled a 26-man squad for the mundial competition involving just one home based player, Benjamin Asare, of Hearts of Oak, as one of the three goalkeepers, nine defenders, seven midfielders and also seven attackers as the West African team aim to better group stage exits in their last two appearances of the competition.
Thomas Partey gets the nod in the squad released on Tuesday as well as Jordan Ayew, who has 119 caps for the Black Stars.
