“Save my life” – RCCG member alleges threats after criticizing Adeboye over cancelled protest in viral video

Days after accusing RCCG leadership of allegedly cancelling a planned peaceful protest against insecurity, the church member at the centre of the viral controversy has now claimed that his life is in danger following a series of alleged threats.

The man, who recently called out Pastor Enoch Adeboye in a viral video, appealed to Nigerians for protection, alleging that unknown individuals contacted him through private numbers and demanded that he delete his videos.

“Please, I want you all to protect and save my life. As I’m speaking to you, my life is in danger because of the truth I have just spoken out. There is nobody that can protect me except you Nigerians.”

“Yesterday, two different private numbers called me. The first person that called me said, ‘Bring down your video or we will track you down.’ Immediately I dropped that first call, the second person called and said, ‘You have 24 hours to bring down your videos,’” he alleged.

According to him, the alleged threats have escalated to the point where he no longer feels safe in his current location and has been forced to leave his residence.

Despite the situation, he insisted that he would not be intimidated into silence, maintaining that he stands by his comments and believes there are issues within the church that need to be addressed.

“Presently, I’m moving out of my place this morning because there have been a lot of threats. I will not bow down to any pressure because I stand with the truth,” he added.

His latest claims have sparked mixed reactions online, with some Nigerians expressing concern for his safety and calling for an investigation into the alleged threats.

The development comes shortly after the man alleged that a planned peaceful protest was called off on the instruction of First Lady Oluremi Tinubu, a claim that continues to generate debate on social media.
