A fire has broken out at a building housing a branch of Polaris Bank on Broad Street, Lagos Island, triggering panic among workers, residents, and passers-by.
Videos circulating on social media showed thick smoke billowing from the building as firefighters battled to contain the blaze.
It was gathered that emergency responders rushed to the scene after receiving a distress call. The cause of the fire has yet to be determined.
