The Civil Defence, Correctional, Fire and Immigration Services Board (CDCFIB) has released the names of successful candidates who participated in the Computer-Based Test (CBT) conducted as part of the 2024/2025 recruitment exercise into the country’s paramilitary agencies.
The announcement was made in a statement issued on Saturday in Abuja by the Secretary of the Board, retired Major-General Abdulmalik Jibril.
According to the board, candidates who sat for the online CBT in November 2025 and were successful have been shortlisted for the next phase of the recruitment process, which includes physical screening and document verification.
The recruitment exercise covers the Nigeria Security and Civil Defence Corps (NSCDC), the Nigerian Correctional Service (NCoS), the Federal Fire Service (FFS), the Nigeria Immigration Service (NIS), and the CDCFIB.
Jibril said shortlisted applicants are expected to visit the board’s official recruitment portal between June 15 and June 20 to confirm their status and complete the necessary procedures.
He explained that applicants must log in using the application number generated during their initial registration.
“Shortlisted applicants are required to upload their credentials and select their preferred date and venue for the physical screening exercise,” he said.
The board urged candidates to carefully follow all instructions provided on the recruitment portal to avoid disqualification.
Jibril also cautioned applicants against falling victim to fraudsters, stressing that the recruitment exercise remains entirely free of charge.
“No applicant should pay money to any individual, agent, group or organisation claiming to facilitate shortlisting, venue allocation, document upload, access to screening centres or final selection,” he warned.
He further advised members of the public to disregard fake recruitment messages, fraudulent links and unauthorised persons purporting to act on behalf of the board.
The CDCFIB secretary noted that all official information regarding the recruitment process would be communicated exclusively through the board’s recruitment portal and other approved official channels.
He reaffirmed the board’s commitment to conducting a transparent, credible and merit-based recruitment process in line with established guidelines and procedures.
The announcement marks a significant step in the ongoing recruitment exercise aimed at strengthening manpower across Nigeria’s key paramilitary services.
