FC Midtjylland Bring Back Nigerian Striker Friday Etim in Major Transfer Move

Danish Superliga giants FC Midtjylland have completed the return of Nigerian striker Friday Etim from FC Fredericia.

The forward has signed a new contract with the club that will keep him at Midtjylland until December 2029.

Etim previously joined the Danish side from Portuguese club CD Mafra before moving to FC Fredericia in January.

Nigerian Forward Earns Second Chance

The 24-year-old struggled to secure consistent playing time during his first spell at FC Midtjylland.

The club later allowed him to move to FC Fredericia, where he found more opportunities and improved his performances.

Etim scored four goals and provided one assist in 14 appearances for Fredericia.

Midtjylland Believe In Etim’s Potential

His return shows the club’s confidence in his ability to compete at the highest level.

The Nigerian striker will now aim to establish himself in the squad and continue his development in Denmark.

Following Nigerian Football Legends

Etim will hope to follow the path of Nigerian players who made their names at FC Midtjylland.

Former players such as Paul Onuachu, Frank Onyeka and Raphael Onyedika all impressed at the club before earning moves to bigger European teams.

The striker’s latest move could become another important step in his career.
