Media personality Daddy Freeze has criticised actor Yul Edochie over remarks concerning the late Alexx Ekubo and his private life.
Speaking in a video shared online, Daddy Freeze argued that an individual’s marital status and family life are personal matters and should remain private unless the person chooses to make them public.
He stated that he was unaware of certain aspects of Alexx Ekubo’s personal life until after his passing but maintained that such information was nobody else’s business.
The broadcaster further suggested that Yul Edochie should show greater sensitivity when discussing a deceased colleague, stressing that not every issue should be treated as content for public debate or social media engagement.

“I didn’t know Alexx Ekubo had a wife until the day he kpaied. But it’s not my business and neither is it your business. It’s his wife.
Because Yul has decided to bring his own family matter to the fore for us to laugh and joke about, he should have some respect for the late Alex. It’s not everything that is clout. Which one is, ‘why didn’t you let us know you had a wife’. Do you want to start dating his wife? I don’t understand what your business is with somebody’s wife.
