Afam Okeke Congratulates Askira Alkali Adamu on Election as NBA Garki Chairman

A former Chairman of the Nigerian Bar Association (NBA), Abuja Branch, and candidate for the office of General Secretary of the NBA, Afam O. Okeke, Esq., has congratulated Askira Alkali Adamu, Esq., on his election as Chairman of the NBA Garki Branch, popularly known as the Liberty Bar.

Okeke, in a goodwill message, also congratulated other members of the newly elected Executive Committee, describing their emergence as a reflection of the confidence and trust reposed in them by members of the branch.

According to him, the outcome of the election demonstrates the expectation of members for purposeful leadership, unity and continued development of the branch.
“Your emergence is a strong testament to the confidence and trust reposed in your leadership capacity, professional integrity and commitment to the ideals of the legal profession,” Okeke stated.

He urged the new chairman and his team to remain committed to promoting the core values of the legal profession, including integrity, professionalism, service and the advancement of justice.

“Leadership within the NBA is both a privilege and a responsibility, and I am confident that your tenure will be impactful and memorable,” he added.

Askira Alkali Adamu is widely regarded within legal circles as an experienced legal practitioner with a reputation for professional excellence, bar activism and commitment to the welfare of lawyers.

Over the years, he has participated actively in NBA activities and contributed to initiatives aimed at strengthening the legal profession and promoting access to justice.
