Former presidential aide, Bashir Ahmad, has called on the vice-presidential candidate of the Nigeria Democratic Congress, NDC, Rabi’u Kwankwaso, to leave the party if he feels he’s been treated unfairly.
Ahmad gave the advice in a post on his verified X handle on Monday.
He was reacting to the replacement of some candidates earlier submitted by the Kwankwasiyya faction in Kano State to the NDC.
“If Sen Rabiu Kwankwaso genuinely believes that he has been treated unfairly by the national leadership of the NDC, then the most appropriate course of action would be to leave the party and pursue his political ambition on another platform.
“Rather than remain in a party where he feels constrained or marginalized, he should seek a platform that aligns with his aspirations and allows him to compete on his own terms,” Ahmad said.
