Bola Tinubu has delayed his planned trip to France, Kenya and Rwanda by one day, with departure now fixed for Sunday instead of Saturday.
The change was announced by Bayo Onanuga, who said the adjustment was made without stating any reason.
“President Bola Tinubu has rescheduled his planned three nation trip to France, Kenya, and Rwanda, with departure now set for Sunday, May 3.”
Tinubu is expected to begin the visit in France before travelling to Nairobi, Kenya for the Africa-France Summit scheduled for May 11 to 12.
The summit will be co-chaired by Emmanuel Macron and William Ruto, with focus on energy transition, climate action and economic cooperation.
The president will then proceed to Kigali, Rwanda for the Africa CEO Forum from May 14 to 15.
At both meetings, Tinubu is expected to present Nigeria’s reform plans, seek investment and hold talks with African and global leaders.
