As a way of fulfilling its promises, the All Progressive Congress (APC) in Katsina state has given automatic ticket to three House of Representatives members who recently decamped from the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) to the ruling party in the state.
The party equally replaced Senator Nasiru Sani Zango and 7 other House of Representatives members for lack of support from their constituencies.
Those given automatic ticket are Hon. Salisu Yusuf Majigiri , representing Mashi/ Dutse constituency, Hon. Abdullahi Balarabe Dabai, representing Bakori/Danja and Hon. Abubakar Aliyu Illiyasu of Batsari/Dan Musa/ Safana constituency.
The three defectors were elected under the PDP ticket in their first tenure but due to their zeal for second term, defected to the APC months back.
The replaced members are Sani Danlami of Katsina Central, Hon Abubakar Yahaya Kusada of Ingawa/ Kusada/ Kankia, Hon. Aminu Jamo of Daura/ Sandamu/ Maiadua and Hon. Dalhatu Tafoki of Faskari/ / Sabuwa/ Kankara constituencies.
