The Zamfara state Home of Meeting, Wednesday suspended the chairmen of Bukuyum and Kaura Namoda native authorities areas of the state.
Their suspension adopted allegations of misappropriation of funds and disrespect for the meeting and the state authorities below the management of Governor Dauda Lawal.
The suspension was introduced by Speaker R. Hon Bilyaminu Ismail Moriki, Wednesday.
“The chairmen, Hon Umar A Faru (Bukuyum) and Hon Mannir Muazu Haidara (Kaura Namoda), are accused {of financial} misconduct,” mentioned Hon. Moriki
The meeting has tasked deputy chairmen to supervise the LGAs pending investigations.
The transfer follows a report by the meeting’s committee on native authorities and chieftaincy affairs, which highlighted the alleged wrongdoing.
