US President Donald Trump stated Tuesday that Iran was “collapsing financially” over the closure of the very important Strait of Hormuz.
“Iran is collapsing financially! They need the Strait of Hormuz opened instantly,” he wrote on Fact Social, including that the Islamic republic was “ravenous for money.”

Trump posted earlier that Tehran stated it supported the closure of the strait to “save face” underneath the US blockade of Iranian ports.
