In the same exchange, Trump said Ukraine was âmilitarily defeatedâ and described extensive losses across ships, aircraft, missiles, and drones.
He stated: âThey had 159 ships. Every ship is underwater⌠Every one of their planes has been shot down or has been decimated.â These remarks drew attention because they did not align with publicly known military structures or assessments of the war in Ukraine.
