The Federal School of Training, Gidan Madi, in Sokoto state, had Thursday matriculated 342 college students for 2026 educational session.
Talking through the matriculation’s ceremony held on the premises of the faculty in Gidan Madi headquarters of Tangaza native authorities, Provost of the faculty, Dr Malami Muhammad, warned college students towards examination malpractice because the establishment has zero tolerance of such offences
“This school has zero tolerance for examination malpractice, immorality, indecency, in addition to different social vices in campus, in case you are discovered responsible of any of those vices, you’ll be suspended or expelled.
“You’ve come right here to review and put together your self for a larger tomorrow, pay severe consideration to why you’re right here.
“We extol obedience, sincerity, humility, perseverance and arduous work. You might be to be guided by these attributes as skilled lecturers within the making,” the provost said.
Dr. Muhammad additional stated the matriculated college students had been admitted into the 2 faculties of Science, Training and Vocational, Technical Training.
He expressed hope to determine further faculties equivalent to faculty of Social Sciences and Arts with a purpose to admit extra college students.
He counseled President Bola Tinubu for his help to the faculty, which, he stated, had led to improved educational actions, admission quota and course accreditations.
