Shehu Sani faults Wike on the market of land at Jabi Lake Park

Shehu Sani, former senator representing Kaduna central, has criticised the alleged sale of land at Jabi Lake Park, accusing Nyesom Wike, minister of the federal capital territory (FCT), of undermining the world’s authentic design.

Sani raised the priority in a submit on X, warning that the event might violate the grasp plan of Abuja.

He stated the park was designed and constructed throughout the administration of Olusegun Obasanjo greater than 20 years in the past as a leisure area for residents.

His phrases: “Jabi lake park Abuja was designed and constructed by the Obasanjo administration over 2 a long time in the past. The picturesque area is a hub for picnic, tenting and leisure actions for Abuja residents.”

Sani expressed concern that elements of the land are allegedly being carved out and offered for development initiatives.

“It’s unhappy to see the land being caved out and offered. I don’t even know what they’re establishing there,” he lamented,

The previous lawmaker warned that any approval granted in violation of the Abuja grasp plan might not stand sooner or later.

“Those that purchased the land in violation of the grasp plan ought to know that the approval of at the moment is not going to stand the scrutiny of the longer term,” he added.

The FCTA beneath Wike not too long ago authorised the sale of the land which has triggered outrage from so many residents of Abuja.
