The Oyo state Police command Tuesday mentioned it has arrested three suspected armed robbers with a toy pistol.
The Police Public Relations Officer (PPRO), DSP Olayinka Ayanlade, in an announcement mentioned the three suspects had been arrested at Bodija space of Ibadan by males of the command.
DSP Ayanlade within the assertion mentioned the suspects had been intercepted on a Bajaj bike with registration quantity BDJ 386 QH throughout a routine checking.
“On sixth April, 2026, at about 1230 hours, operatives hooked up to Bodija Market Division, whereas on routine stop-and-search obligation alongside Awolowo Highway, Bodija, intercepted a Bajaj bike with registration quantity BDJ 386 QH,” he mentioned.
