African Democratic Congress (ADC) presidential aspirant, Peter Obi, has donated N5 million to help indigent college students at an Islamic college in Bauchi state.
Obi disclosed this in a submit on Thursday after visiting Madarasatu Intisharu Islam Qismu in Bauchi. He mentioned the go to adopted a gathering with Governor Bala Mohammed.
Obi mentioned he had beforehand supported the varsity with N5 million for the availability of chairs and different objects.
“Yesterday, Thursday twenty third April, after assembly with His Excellency the Governor Bala of Bauchi State, I proceeded to Madarasatu Intisharu Islam Qismu in Bauchi, the place I had visited up to now and supported them with the sum of 5million naira to offer chairs and different objects for the varsity,” he mentioned.
He mentioned he was impressed by the enhancements recorded on the college and the keenness of the scholars.
“On visiting yesterday, and seeing enhancements which were achieved and the way enthusiastic the kids are, I used to be glad and gave them one other sum of 5million to help the scholarship of indigent college students,” he mentioned.
