The Chief Whip of the Oyo State Home of Meeting, Gbenga Oyekola, has denied involvement in an alleged plan to question Governor Seyi Makinde.
His response comes amid rising rumours of a potential plot throughout the Meeting to take away the governor.
Oyekola, who represents Atiba State Constituency, addressed the problem on Tuesday via an announcement posted on his verified Fb web page. He made it clear that he was not a part of any assembly or association linked to impeachment strikes.
The lawmaker, elected on the platform of the Peoples Democratic Get together (PDP), stated there are ongoing efforts by sure people to create division throughout the Home.
He warned that such actions may injury the working relationship between the legislature and the state authorities.
