The Nigerian Nationwide Petroleum Firm Restricted (NNPC Ltd.) has described as false and deceptive reviews suggesting it’s promoting scrap supplies, gear, or parts from its refineries to people and personal corporations.
Mr. Andy Odeh, Chief Company Communications Officer, NNPC Ltd., in an announcement on Friday, mentioned it had not issued any request for bids, tenders, expressions of curiosity or approvals for the sale of scrap supplies and refinery parts.
“The Firm needs to categorically state that this data is unfaithful.
“NNPC Restricted has not issued any request for bids, tenders, expressions of curiosity, or approvals for the sale of scrap supplies, refinery parts, or any objects from the warehouses or inventories of any of its refineries.
“NNPC Restricted has additionally obtained reviews that sure people are falsely presenting themselves as representatives or brokers of the corporate, claiming to facilitate the sale of so-called “scrap metals” or refinery gear.
“These people aren’t authorised by NNPC Restricted and are trying to mislead members of the general public,” he mentioned.
