Iran’s central army command introduced on Saturday that it could reinstate “strict administration” of the Strait of Hormuz, reversing an earlier transfer to reopen the strategic waterway as a part of negotiations with Washington.
In a press release broadcast on state tv, the army headquarters accused the US of breaking its dedication by sustaining a naval blockade on vessels travelling to and from Iranian ports.
It added that till Washington restores unrestricted motion for all ships sure for Iran, “the scenario within the Strait of Hormuz will stay strictly managed.”
