Troops of Operation Enduring Peace have killed three suspected terrorists throughout operations in Plateau State.
In an announcement on Friday, Captain Chinonso Polycarp Oteh, media data officer of the joint job power, stated the operations passed off in Jos North Native Authorities Space and Wase Native Authorities Space.
Oteh stated troops responded to a misery name over sporadic gunshots within the Dutse Uku space of Jos North at about 11:45 pm on Thursday.
In line with him, troopers intercepted two people wearing black tactical uniforms who had been allegedly concerned in arson and assaults on residential buildings.
He stated: “Vigilant troops responding to a misery name on sporadic taking pictures at Dutse Uku normal space intercepted and apprehended two people masquerading as safety operatives.
“These impostors, wearing tactical black uniforms, had been caught actively collaborating within the arson of residential properties and the orchestration of violence inside the neighborhood.”
He added that two individuals who sustained gunshot wounds throughout the incident had been evacuated to a medical facility by troops and are in secure situation.
The navy officer stated the arrest contradicts allegations that safety personnel had been concerned within the unrest in Jos North.
“This pivotal arrest serves as a direct rebuttal to latest allegations suggesting navy complicity within the Jos North unrest.
