The Nigerian Air Pressure (NAF) has carried out an airstrike on a terrorist enclave in Kangarwa, positioned within the northern Tumbuns space of Borno State.
In a press release on Friday, Air Commodore Ehimen Ejodame, spokesman of NAF, stated the operation was performed by the air element of Operation Hadin Kai.
Air Commodore Ejodame stated the strike was executed on April 1 at about 12:05 pm following credible intelligence indicating terrorist actions within the space.
He added that intelligence, surveillance, and reconnaissance missions confirmed the presence and motion of fighters throughout the enclave earlier than the strike was carried out.
