Governor Monday Okpebholo of Edo State has authorised a minor cupboard reshuffle, redeploying the Commissioner for Works, Felix Ehiguese Akhabue, to the Ministry of Water Assets.
The event was introduced in an announcement issued on Monday by the Secretary to the State Authorities, Umar Ikhilor.
Based on the assertion, the Everlasting Secretary within the Ministry of Works has been directed to supervise the ministry’s affairs pending the appointment of a brand new commissioner.
“The Edo State Authorities needs to tell most people that the Govt Governor of Edo State, His Excellency, Senator Monday Okpebholo, has authorised the redeployment of the Commissioner for Works, Hon. (Dr.) Felix Ehiguese Akhabue, from the Ministry of Works to the Ministry of Water Assets.
“Consequently, the Everlasting Secretary of the Ministry of Works is to take over pending the deployment of a brand new Commissioner to the Ministry.
“This directive takes fast impact.”
