Former PDP deputy governorship candidate defects to Labour Celebration in Abia state

Former deputy governorship candidate of the Peoples Democratic Celebration (PDP) in Abia, Jasper Uche, has defected to the Labour Celebration (LP).

Uche, founding father of the Ihe Abia Organisation, introduced his defection throughout a go to to Governor Alex Otti.

He stated the choice adopted consultations along with his supporters and political associates. Uche stated he joined the LP to help Otti’s administration and contribute to his re-election bid in 2027.

Otti welcomed the defection and warranted Uche of full integration into the celebration.

The governor directed Chaka Chukwumerije, commissioner for lands, to facilitate the reception and integration of Uche and his supporters in Umunneochi LGA.
