The federal authorities has inaugurated an inter-ministerial committee to strengthen coordination and improve compliance within the implementation of the Host Group Improvement (HCD) Programme.
The inauguration, which passed off in Abuja, was presided over by the Everlasting Secretary, Ministry of Petroleum Sources, Mrs. Persistence Oyekunle, and her counterpart within the Ministry of Regional Improvement, Dr. Mary Ada Ogbe.
A press release by Rotimi Sanusi, on behalf of the top of press and public relations within the ministry, stated the committee was established strictly as a collaborative and advisory physique.
Based on the assertion, the committee is remitted to facilitate coordination and promote efficient data sharing amongst stakeholders according to presidential directives.
Membership of the Committee was drawn from the Ministry of Petroleum Sources, the Ministry of Regional Improvement, the Nigerian Upstream Petroleum Regulatory Fee (NUPRC).
