Former Nigerian Vice-President Yemi Osinbajo has been appointed senior strategic adviser to the Director-Common of the Africa Centres for Illness Management and Prevention (Africa CDC), Jean Kaseya.
In keeping with an announcement launched on Monday, Osinbajo’s appointment comes at a pivotal time as Africa CDC advances the Africa Well being Safety and Sovereignty (AHSS) agenda.

Osinbajo served as Nigeria’s vice-president from 2015 to 2023 and was beforehand Lagos State’s attorney-general and commissioner for justice from 1999 to 2007.
