Police operatives in Edo state have arrested one Enabulele Sampson, 64, who reportedly acted as surety for a suspected bigamist.
Sampson was reportedly taken into custody for failing to honour bail circumstances and produce the bigamy suspect recognized as Ajayi Patrick.
Spokesman for the Edo state police command, ASP Eno Ikoedem, said this in an announcement Wednesday and added that the surety can be arraigned in courtroom to indicate trigger why the bail bond shouldn’t be forfeited.
