The African Democratic Congress (ADC) has accused the Unbiased Nationwide Electoral Fee (INEC) of plotting to stop it from fielding candidates within the 2027 common elections.
In a press release on Monday by Bolaji Abdullahi, the celebration’s nationwide publicity secretary described the alleged derecognition transfer as a deliberate try to exclude the celebration from the electoral course of.
In keeping with him, INEC’s actions, together with the reported refusal to obtain official correspondence from the celebration, are geared toward creating obstacles that might hinder its participation within the polls.
The ADC warned that such strikes, if sustained, may undermine democratic rules and restrict political competitors forward of the 2027 elections.
