Bandits have kidnapped Bitrus Jayawa and his spouse, Martha Bitrus, from a farm in Katambi group in Kachia native authorities space of Kaduna state.
The incident reportedly occurred round 9:12am on Monday whereas the couple have been clearing their farm forward of cultivation.
Markus Iliya, a resident of Katambi, mentioned the couple had gone to the farm with three of their kids when the attackers arrived.
Iliya mentioned the youngsters Observed the bandits first and fled earlier than the attackers seized their mother and father.
“It was even the three kids of the victims, who sighted the bandits coming into the farm, earlier than they escaped and the bandits went after the couple,” he mentioned.
A group chief who requested anonymity additionally confirmed the kidnapping, saying safety operatives have been alerted instantly after the incident.
