The African Democratic Congress (ADC) has dismissed studies claiming that its Interim Nationwide Chairman, David Mark, has resigned.
The get together described the studies as false and deceptive.
In a press release issued by the Nationwide Chairman’s Media Workplace, the claims have been rejected as “an insidious fabrication” orchestrated by “puerile, weak and thoughtless propagandists.”
The assertion affirmed that Mark stays the substantive Nationwide Chairman of the get together, stressing that there aren’t any plans or ongoing discussions about his resignation.
“The assertion that Senator David Mark has stepped down exists solely within the warped creativeness of these bent on spreading falsehood and creating confusion inside our get together,” the assertion stated.
It added that the get together’s management stays united and dedicated to strengthening democratic values and offering credible management to Nigerians.
The ADC additionally cautioned towards makes an attempt to destabilise the get together, attributing such efforts to issues over its rising affect and shifting political panorama forward of the 2027 normal elections.
