Yusuf Buhari, son of former President Muhammadu Buhari, has declared his intention to contest for a seat in the home of representatives within the 2027 common election.
The event was confirmed by Bashir Ahmad, a former particular assistant on digital communications to the late president, following rising hypothesis on social media over Yusuf’s political ambition.
In a letter dated April 3 and addressed to stakeholders, Yusuf reportedly introduced his resolution to vie for the federal legislative seat representing Sandamu/Daura/Mai’Adua constituency below the platform of the All Progressives Congress (APC).
“I’m extraordinarily delighted to tell you of my intention to contest for this place, as I intention to contribute to good management and convey growth to our folks,” the letter learn.
In a publish on his X web page, Ahmad confirmed the event, noting that the choice adopted intensive consultations with stakeholders.
“Following extensive consultations, Yusuf Buhari, the son of our late boss, President Muhammadu Buhari, has knowledgeable stakeholders of his intention to contest for the Home of Representatives seat for the Sandamu/Daura/Mai’Adua constituency below the All Progressives Congress,” he wrote.
