Abdul-Azeez Olajide Adediran, popularly often known as Jandor, has reaffirmed his intention to contest the 2027 governorship election below the platform of the All Progressives Congress (APC).
In response to reviews, the state’s Deputy Governor, Dr. Kadir Obafemi Hamzat, is extensively believed to have been endorsed because the consensus candidate.
Nonetheless, the celebration management has maintained {that a} main election can be carried out for all aspirants.
Regardless of reviews of Hamzat’s endorsement, Adediran, who was the PDP governorship candidate within the 2023 election, said that he’ll take part within the APC governorship main alongside different contenders.
In the meantime, members of the JAGABAN-JANDOR 2027 Motion, largely made up of younger Lagosians, have launched a stakeholders’ funding initiative to lift cash for the celebration’s expression of curiosity and nomination varieties forward of the primaries.
Talking at an occasion in Lagos, the group’s Central Coordinator, Woman Funke Ijayekunle, mentioned the initiative displays the collective dedication of supporters to fund Jandor’s ambition by means of grassroots contributions.
