Vice President Kashim Shettima has paid a condolence go to to former Kaduna State Governor, Nasir El-Rufai, following the dying of his mom, Hajiya Fatima Umma El-Rufai.
The late matriarch handed away on March 27, 2026, in Cairo, Egypt, on the age of 96.
Through the go to to the household’s residence in Abuja, Shettima urged Nigerians to prioritise unity and nationwide cohesion above political variations.
He prayed for the repose of the soul of the deceased and luxury for the bereaved household.
In accordance with an announcement issued by his Media Assistant, Stanley Nkwocha, the Vice President emphasised the significance of collective efforts in constructing a united nation.
Shettima was obtained by outstanding figures, together with former Bauchi State Governor, Ahmad Adamu Muazu; former Chief of Military Employees, Abdurrahman Dambazau; and Abdullahi Sarkin Gobir Adiya.
The go to underscores continued expressions of sympathy and solidarity with the El-Rufai household following the passing of the nonagenarian.
