JUST IN: Former NNPP guber candidate in Jigawa broadcasts resignation from celebration

Aminu Ibrahim Ringim, the 2023 governorship candidate of the New Nigeria Peoples Social gathering (NNPP) in Jigawa state, has introduced his resignation from the celebration.

Ringim disclosed this in a letter dated March 30, 2026, addressed to the NNPP chairman of Ringim ward in Ringim LGA of Jigawa state.

Within the letter, the previous governorship candidate mentioned the choice adopted cautious reflection and consultations.

“I write to formally notify you of my resignation from the New Nigeria Peoples Social gathering (NNPP), efficient from the date of this letter. The choice has been taken after cautious reflection and session,” he mentioned.

Ringim expressed appreciation to the celebration for the chance to function its governorship candidate within the 2023 normal election.

His phrases: “I stay grateful for the chance to have served because the Social gathering’s Gubernatorial Candidate within the 2023 Normal Elections and as a Chief of the Social gathering in Jigawa State.

“I sincerely recognize the help, cooperation and belief prolonged to me by the Social gathering management and members in any respect ranges.

“I acknowledge the platform the Social gathering supplied and the collective efforts we made in advancing our shared imaginative and prescient. I want the Social gathering continued progress and success in its future endeavours.”
