
A father, Mr. Rufus Farotimi, has known as on the authorities for justice and pressing help after a truck accident claimed the lifetime of his son and destroyed his dwelling in Aramoko-Ekiti, in Ekiti West native authorities space of Ekiti state.
The incident reportedly occurred at Oke-Ila space weekend when a heavy-duty truck reportedly misplaced management and rammed into Farotimi’s residence, killing his 21-year-old son, Promise Farotimi, a 300-level scholar of Constructing Expertise on the Federal College, Oye-Ekiti, who was asleep on the time.
Talking with journalists, the distraught father described the incident as a devastating double tragedy, leaving him homeless and bereaved.
“My son was the one killed, and I’m the proprietor of the home. This accident has destroyed every thing. I’ve misplaced my baby and my shelter. I don’t even have garments anymore; what I’m carrying was given to me by my youthful brother,” he lamented.
He mentioned the truck driver fled the scene instantly after the crash, whereas residents apprehended the driving force’s assistant, popularly often called an “operator boy.”
