Former Vice-President Atiku Abubakar and former Labour Occasion presidential candidate Peter Obi had been amongst outstanding Nigerians who attended the Janazah (funeral prayers) of Hajiya Umma El-Rufai, mom of former Kaduna State Governor Nasir El-Rufai.
The funeral prayer occurred on Sunday on the Nationwide Mosque Abuja.
Additionally current had been the Nationwide Safety Adviser, Nuhu Ribadu, and Kaduna State Governor Uba Sani, together with different dignitaries.
In a message shared on his X account, Atiku confirmed his attendance and provided prayers for the deceased and her household.
He prayed for energy and luxury for the household of Nasir El-Rufai and requested Allah to grant the late matriarch everlasting relaxation.
Hajiya Umma El-Rufai died on Friday in Cairo, Egypt, the place she had been receiving therapy for an age-related sickness.
