The All Progressives Congress has dismissed as false experiences circulating on social media claiming it had mounted costs for expression of curiosity and nomination varieties forward of the 2027 normal elections.
The get together described the extensively shared graphic, which instructed that presidential aspirants would pay N200m and state meeting hopeful N20m, as deceptive and unauthorised.
In an announcement issued on Saturday, Felix Morka, the nationwide publicity secretary stated the report didn’t emanate from the get together.
“The eye of the APC has been drawn to a false and deceptive report circulating in sections of the media concerning a purported ‘value listing’ for expression of curiosity and nomination varieties for the 2027 normal elections.
“The APC states categorically that the report is FAKE, and didn’t emanate from the Social gathering,” he stated.
Morka clarified that the get together had not taken any choice concerning the sale or pricing of nomination varieties for the forthcoming elections.
“To be clear, no choice or announcement has been made on the sale or pricing of varieties for the 2027 elections,” he added.
He additional described the publication as “a mere figment of the author’s mischievous creativeness,” urging get together members, the media and most of the people to ignore it fully.
