Gombe state governor, Muhammadu Inuwa Yahaya, Sunday joined members of the family, political leaders and mourners on the Nationwide Mosque, Abuja, for the Janazah prayer of late Hajiya Umma El-Rufai, mom of former Kaduna state governor, Nasir Ahmed El-Rufai.
Yahaya, who additionally chairs the Northern States Governors’ Discussion board, described the dying of the late matriarch as a painful and irreplaceable loss, particularly for her youngsters and family members.
After the funeral prayer, the governor expressed condolences to Mr El-Rufai and the complete household, stating that the dying of a mom creates a void that’s typically difficult to fill.
He stated the late Hajiya Umma could be remembered for the values she represented and the legacy she left behind, a household constructed on self-discipline, service and a powerful ethical upbringing.
He stated she lived a life marked by humility, compassion and a deep sense of accountability, qualities that endeared her to many and formed the lives of these round her.
