Three arrested over homicide of 27-year-old Ondo woman

The Ondo State Police Command has arrested three suspects in reference to the homicide of a 27-year-old girl recognized merely as Religion, within the Fagun space of the state.

PUNCH Metro learnt from an announcement on Wednesday by the command spokesperson, Abayomi Jimoh, that the incident was reported on the Fagun Division on February 5, 2026.

He recognized the suspects as Olayode, 27; Temitope, 32; and Bolaji, 22, including that they’d be charged in courtroom upon the conclusion of investigations.

“Through the assault, the assailant reportedly inflicted deadly machete accidents on Religion, a 27-year-old feminine, resulting in her loss of life.

In April 2025, PUNCH Metro reported that the Anambra State Police Command arrested two suspects over the homicide of an 80-year-old girl in Ihiala, Anambra State.

The suspects have been stated to have tied the sufferer’s legs and mouth earlier than allegedly murdering her, after which they stole her black CG motorbike.
